Matcha Tea Salt
Ahhhhh, the memories of Dutch’s visit to Japan with its deep traditions contrasted by a fashionably modern and trendy people. As if a taboo relationship, this is the perfect marriage of sel gris (grey sea salt) with premium matcha tea powder made from leaves that come from Kyoto, Japan. While the many uses of this Matcha Tea Salt may not be readily apparent, Dutch often uses this green and slightly umami flavored salt over baked seafood, raw, steamed or tempura vegetables, egg dishes, and, you guessed it, matcha chocolate.
